We really needed this experience with Christian to restore our faith in the industry. We had 5 excavators look at our property to resolve drainage issues that we were having. Two of them said they didn’t feel comfortable doing the work without getting an engineer involved. The other three came, said it was no problem to do and they would be back to take measurements, and then never showed up again and would not return phone calls. Christian was the only excavator that followed through and really did his best to keep communication with us. We have had one of the wettest and rainiest seasons I can remember- and no flooding after his work was done. The job did take much longer than expected, but that was due to heavy rains that would make the ground unworkable. I don’t think there was anything Christian could do about the delays. At one point we were getting concerned about the delays and were thinking of previous times that people in this industry had let us down. I voiced this to Christian and he assured me that “he has never failed someone”. He then followed through with everything and really restored our sense of trust in this industry. We learned that there really are good people who are honest and capable through our experience with Christian. His advice on the cosmetic restoration of the property after the drainage work was done was also invaluable. He even took us to our local nursery to help us pick out plants and shrubs that would look good and made sense for the land, upkeep, and sunlight levels.
